Garden Dash tips and tricks
Need some tips for tending to your garden in Garden Dash this spring? Check out our guide to getting the best blooms:
Prioritize the Plants
First thing's first: satisfying the right goal. In Garden Dash, the most important objective is to keep your plants happy. That's right, it's the plants that reign supreme in this game, not the customers ordering them. Of course, you still need to fill in customer orders before time runs out, but you can't do that if your plants won't grow!
Keep them satisfied by watering, pruning, and tending to any special needs quickly and efficiently. Use some of the other tips below to make it happen and get expert! Continue reading...
Egg vs Chicken iPhone tips and tricks
Even the hardest boiled eggs will encounter some trouble defeating those clucksters in Egg vs Chicken for iPhone and iPod touch. We gleaned some tips and tricks from the game's designer, Dana. Check them out below:
Score Stars
It's easy to pass a level, but there's some strategy required to earn the full 3 stars for it.
First, kill as many chickens at once as you can. The more you destroy at once, the higher the points, so get your eggs lined up, wait for the chickens to fill the screen, and then fire! Try to kill the toughest chickens last to get the biggest reward.

In the game, you play as Rosie the Regular running your own show. The game of Dash™ has changed a bit, but the key gameplay elements you have learned to love are all there. Explore some of your own strategies or check out some tips from the game's producer, Cazcreator:
Chaining
Definition: performing like tasks consecutively
Chain, chain, chain. If you want to wow your friends with impressive scores, chaining is key. For the loyal dash fans, chaining and the role it plays in achieving high scores is nothing new. For the newbies, learn it and learn it well as it is signature Dash gameplay.
Maximize your ability to chain by filling stations with actors prior to servicing them. For example if you have three open chairs in the Hair Station, fill each chair with an actor first then click on all three of them to start service. Wham-o! Hair Station x3!
Expert Tip: Your chain bonus can exceed the number of chairs available in a particular station. In the example above you can surpass a 3x Chain Bonus by making sure actors have already read their scripts and are ready to occupy a hair chair when vacated. Note: clicking and dragging actors from one station to another does not break your chain but servicing an actor at another station will.
Color-matching
Definition: matching customers to like colored stations and scripts
Match customers to same colored station chairs for extra points. To put it simply, place yellow customers in yellow chairs. If the color is matched consecutively per station, the bonus multiplier increases proportionately. Seating a customer in the wrong colored chair will reset the color match multiplier. Color match when you can to earn bonus points!
Expert tip: Dedicate certain station chairs to specific colors to remind you to color match. You won’t always be able to color match everything, so concentrate on maximizing the color match multiplier on a select color or two.
Prioritize
Not every actor is needed for the current scene. Pay special attention to the actors with the clapper icon as it indicates that they are needed on stage. Prioritize appropriately. Take care not to become overly consumed with just those actors, as you may miss opportunities to maximize chain and color match bonuses. Find the balance that allows you to prepare the set swiftly but without losing out on points. Most importantly, don’t get caught with all the wrong actors prepared for the set or Aunt Ethel will give you an earful!
Happy Actors
You’ve heard the stories: actors get upset when they don’t get their way. No different here. Keep your actors happy and your scores will soar. An actor with five hearts will earn you 500 points for service at a station. Four hearts, 400 points. You get the idea!
There are several things you can do to keep actors happy.
- Service them swiftly. They hate waiting.
- Refresh them with Iced Tea. Actors love iced tea.
- Win pop up mini games. Actors want to be perfect.
- Upgrade equipment that increases patience.
Expert tip: Use the actor waiting chair when possible. It keeps actors from getting impatient.
Keep Aunt Ethel Happy
Don’t let her get angry. You wouldn’t like her when she’s angry.
Aunt Ethel is particular about timely prop placement. Once the actors are on the set be sure to promptly place the props or else! Oh and you can only delay filming for so long. Get Hal to the camera quickly or you may end up upsetting Ethel and that’s not good, as you can see below.

Avenue Flo: Special Delivery Tips and Tricks
Avenue Flo: Special Delivery isn’t really the kind of game that will have you stumped for hours. It’s meant to be an easygoing, relatively easy adventure. But even so, there are a few spots where you may find yourself getting stuck or needing some help, so here are some hints and tips to get you through each neighborhood.
Neighborhood 1: Avenue Flo
There are a few tricky tasks in this first neighborhood, but don’t get frustrated… check out these hints!
- Going cuckoo trying to find the tenth burp cloth? It’s inside a drawer.
- Can’t figure out who owns the car with the ‘soap star’ license plate? Show the car photo to Lani the librarian. She knows everything.
- Can’t figure out how to get the striped sock? Derek could use binder clips to hang his laundry… where might you find a box of those?
- Can’t figure out how to get the detergent unstuck? Just HANG around the Laundromat some more to find a solution.
- Can’t find ticket 33? The folks who took it are eating lunch someplace.
- Can’t get everyone to be quiet at the library? There’s a video game book high up on a shelf that would interest Kingston. Grab a pamphlet from Barb’s table for Colin the Cellphone Addict.
- Can’t find the Sprout Girl badge? She says she took the blue line to sell cookies in the park. Perhaps she dropped it on the way.
- Can’t find all the bottles? They’re only in the street scenes, never indoors. There’s one orange bottle behind the fire hydrant near the Laundromat that’s especially tough to spot.
- Can’t find all the balloons? The green balloons tend to be the hardest to find. Check the trees in every scene. There’s a tricky green one behind one of the lion statues at the library too.

Chain
If you’ve played Dash games before, you’ll know that the number one tip for scoring high is chaining.
Seat waves of customers at one time so you can chain your succeeding actions. Don’t seat customers in the same way they enter the restaurant. Seat the more impatient people first.
Be careful not to break chains! For example, Don’t collect money from a customer, then immediately collect the dirty dishes. Collect all the money from all the customers, THEN collect all the dirty dishes.
Expert tip: Collecting money is the #1 chain activity in terms of points. Cooked food orders give more money than just snacks or drinks, so try to end your chains on people who ordered cooked food! Continue reading...
