Bringing Flo and Friends to Their Teenage Years

Do you ever wonder what your friends were like when they were teens? That’s the question we asked ourselves at PlayFirst when we were making Cooking Dash 3: Thrills and Spills Collector's Edition.

The process of bringing Flo and her friends back to their teenage years was a collaborative effort, steered by some of the most creative minds at PlayFirst. Since this was a sequel, we had to brainstorm new ideas, decide which of the previous features to keep, and what customers would work best. Once these elements were determined, we brainstormed ideas for Flo’s next adventure. Vicki, one of the game’s producers commented, “It was hard because Flo’s been on so many wild adventures. In one game, her diner even exploded!”

With the bar so high, we challenged ourselves to do something extra fun with Flo. “We thought it would be cute to go back and see Flo's first job, when she first met Mr. Big.” Vicki explained. And so, teen Flo and the DinerTeens were born!
