Escape from Frankenstein’s Castle: Official Tips

You've embarked on a dark and mysterious journey through the castle of Dr. Victor Frankenstein. Can you save your beloved and Escape from Frankenstein’s Castle before it’s too late? Perhaps these tips and hints will help...

Bedroom

Your adventure begins as you awaken from a troubled sleep. Dorian, the caretaker of the castle, asks you to meet him in the library. But before you can leave, you're visited by the ghost of Isabella. She asks you to find her lost locket, in exchange she will help you escape.

The locket is inside the jewelry box on the table, but the box is locked. To find the key, you have to unlock the eyeball puzzle box. But where is the puzzle box? To find it, you have to explore the rest of the bedroom.

You can find new areas to explore by moving your mouse cursor around the screen. In the screenshot above, you can see the navigation tabs that appear when you move the mouse to the right side of the screen. They show you that there’s an armoire to the right and the door to the upper hall closer to the middle of the screen.

To get the key, find all of the eyeballs in the main bedroom and armoire scenes. You’ll have to open the armoire and the drawer near the lower right corner to find them all. When you have all of them, click on the puzzle box by the foot of the bed, and arrange the eyeballs by color. You’ll get the key that you can use to open the jewelry box and get the locket.

Isabella

Throughout the game, Isabella accompanies you and provides valuable information. You can click on her any time for hints. At certain times, you can go back in time by viewing Isabella’s memory. This can provide useful clues. Whenever you see the “Isabella’s Memory” button at the top of the screen, click it to view the past.

Task List

The task list, located in the lower right corner, is another source of valuable info. It shows the tasks you’re working on, in case you lose track of what you were doing. Even better, you can click on an individual item on the list to find out more about that task.

Locked Doors

From time to time, Hannah will come across a locked door. At some point, Dorian will unlock these doors, or you’ll find the key. If you see a locked door, keep it in mind, because you’ll definitely need to come back to it later on.

  1. I can not get any further. I am at the place where you have to get the bone and put it in the orange liquid but the task detail wont write it in and i have gone back to it several times.
