Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air concept art
Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air Collector's Edition is going to be released this week! In anticipation of the game, we put up a cool interactive map on our Dream Chronicles page. Explore the world of Dream and read up on the different locations.
We're also sharing more exclusive Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air concept art! (If you missed the first post, you can go back and view it again.) Pablo Vietto, Art Director at Kat Games, returns to talk about the art. Click on any image to view a large version and see every luscious detail.
Pablo: We needed an extravagant scenario showing antique constructions made with rocks and natural things around, like coral. Part of the spaces and forms were inspired by the Güell park from Antonio Gaudí. The sculptures and instruments resulted from a combination of the natural forms coming from coral, other sea elements and the figure of a woman (which is always present in our style).
My favorite part of this scene is without a doubt the shapes of the structures and sculptures.
Pablo: In this scene, I respected the style of the metallic pieces of a press following the lines of previously used machines in other Dreams.
Pablo: This scene is inspired by the old crypts and catacombs, but introducing something of our own style, especially the metal pieces. There is always a reminiscence of lines from Art Nouveau.
I particularly love the work on the door, on the rocks, and the central piece that administrates the water flow.
Which is your favorite concept art piece? What other questions do you have? Tell us in the comments!

What can I say??? The Art tells all! Not only me but also any Little Dreamer will have cool-yet-awesome experience with The Book of Air.
This time, back to the Tower of Dreams will be another cool revisit. Lyra was here but wasn’t acknowledge she was. What will she do this time?

I have been looking since last April for DC 3, and now I’ll be searching for DC 4! I absolutely love this game!!! I purchased 1 & 2 at a local computer stote, but no one seems to know anything about 3 – muchless 4.
When my puter crashed I had to re-load everything, so I am re-playing 1 & 2 but no complaining here…lol
Does anyone have any good suggestions? Help, please!

I really like the art.As in all of the Dreams. Though I’m a teeny bit dissapointed about the lack of Dream Jewels. It would be nice if those comed back in the future games. I also love the load screen at the beggining. And wow! So I *was* right about the Güell Park being featured
Fascinating as ever
